You thought your pcp was an exception, when he gave you a questionare on mental health. Unfortunately, more than 9 out of 10 would do the same thing. It's becoming an epidemic, for doctors to do nothing, and/or tell you it's in your head or refer you to a psychiatrist. I spent 12 YEARS telling my doctor that my body was rejecting the implants that were put in for reconstructive surgery at age 40. I was bedridden by year 3, with horrible fatigue, chronic joint pain, severe brain fog, and more. I had seen over 14 doctors, and referred to psychiatrists multiple times, finally after 12 years I was finally able to get them removed, and my symptoms have resolved by 75%. Unfortunately, so much damage for that long, and some issues are now permanent, it pretty much destroyed my immune system. I also had a sinus infection for 3 years, because the antibiotics he prescribed didn't work, he said "its viral, you need to just wait it out". After 2 years i was miserable, I spent the next year going to to a total of 9 doctors (ENT's, immunologists, etc), and it wasn't until the 9th doctor, that he took a swab and sent it to the lab, it turned out that it was a MRSA bacteria (pseudomonas putida), and I had to see an infectious disease Dr, and have a PIC line put in, so that I could have IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. All the doctors I saw about my implants, and all that I saw about my sinus infection, so many have failed me, now I'm completely jaded against doctors, and the thought of needing one terrifies me. It's like I know that if I get anything serious, I'm going to die, because doctors will fail me again.

Thanks for your video. I am about to adopt/rescue a 7 month old male yorkie who has been in a situation from puppyhood with a couple who have only had cats and have no idea how to train a dog (and no patience). I think they also think this dog is supposed to be like a cat. They have never trained a dog. I have had dogs for over 25 years but mini dachshunds, so although I have trained dogs from pups, it’s not only been a while….but I have never had a yorkie. This is a 7 month old very small (3 lbs) yorkie and your video was encouraging to me. Although I am sure I still have my work cut out for me, I totally agree with everything you have said. Patient, pen, tethering, routine etc etc. I get it. I have been wondering (as he is so tiny) if it’s OK and even possible, to have a small yorkie go on pee pads (especially) in winter (I’m in Canada) “and” maybe still go outside in summer time in our yard. This would also be super convenient in bad weather, but I do not want to confuse them. It would seem you have achieved this. I am expecting a lot of work, as the couple that had this dog have probably done a lot of damage and confusion in the training dept since they got him as a pup. I hope it is reversible with love, consistency, presence, patience and “treats”. :-). Poor little guy is surely confused. I have no idea what they have been doing with him, but they are saying he has accidents 3 times a day in their place sometimes. They are obviously not watching him. I want him to have a loving home and we have a yard - which they did not. But I appreciate what you said about not leaving them alone outside, which as he is puny, I would never. I lost my last mini dachshund this past April and am looking forward to a new adventure with a mini yorkie. He is very small, so special attention to his size will be a must. I am excited and a bit nervous….he is a sweet, happy and adorable little guy. So thank you for your tips and this video was just perfect. If you have other suggestions, or videos - I will check them out. Oh…and I love the little “cone” tip for male dogs to aim at….brilliant!

Hi! Thank you so much for your video. I moved into a house (that I’m renting) in March of this year. During July I noticed that my sleep pattern had completely changed (I was regularly waking up sometime between 2:30-4:30am). Towards the end of July I noticed there was mold in the AC unit. My landlord said it was dirt. I had also noticed a lot of brain fog and memory issues. In the last few weeks it has gotten a lot worse. Here are my symptoms: * Psychiatric - anxiety, random feelings of panic, reduced ability to cope with stress, and suicidal thoughts * Cognitive - decreased short-term memory, difficulty concentrating, difficulty learning new information, word-finding difficulty, reduced ability to plan and execute, lack of motivation, brain fog * Musculoskeletal - morning stiffness * Cardiovascular - palpitations, tightness in the chest * Fatigue * Respiratory - shortness of breath, chronic cough from a weird itch in the throat, nasal drip * Neurological - migraines, light-headed, numbness and tingling I have NEVER experienced some of these things before. Psoriasis for a year with 7 different creams and three different dermatologists that did not work. I refused a biopsy with the third dr. of the area. Thank you very much for sharing this. It was very eye opening to me. You’re right, half the households are suffering from wetness one way or another, especially in the humid climates, and there is not much talk about the health complications due to that. I treated my house when i remodeled, and now some came back in one spot. Called professionals for an estimate, and the new thing I discovered they have is a fogger that kills spores all over the house. This is on top of usual treatment. So, for all of you out there, see if that can get done. Thankfully Our bodies are not having such big symptoms and we don’t have a lot of mold, but I work out of the house having to sit or lay down all day , I started feeling lethargic at the end of a day to the point that i no longer want to step out and do my favorites outside after all day dreaming of doing it while working. Definitely feel allot better after a weekend doing work outside and although hard work, i feel better than in the house.
